Tim Carrion has been a key member of our wrestling program during his four years here at Steele. At the OHSAA District Tournament at Mentor High School, he recorded his 100th Career Win in his first Consolation Round Match.

Freshman Diver Ethan Belak had a tremendous end to his first year as a high school diver when he earned the opportunity to compete at the OHSAA State Diving Championships in Canton.  He finished in 22nd place.

On Girls Basketball Senior Day, Kamryn Dziak needed just 6 points to become the Fifth Lady Comet to score One Thousand Career points. With a 3 point basket, of which she made a school record 81 Threes this season, she achieved this tremendous career milestone. She was presented with the the game ball used to score this milestone basket.  Kamryn finished her career, scoring One Thousand Sixty Seven Points!

Next, we recognized  two teams who won championships this winter, Hockey and Boys Swimming & Diving.

The Hockey Team took us on an awesome ride this season.  For the second year in a row, this group of young men won both the Southwestern Conference Tournament and the Baron Cup 2 Tournament.  This is the first time in Southwestern Conference History that the same team won both the SWC Tournament and a Baron Cup in the same season. They finished the season with a 32 and 3 record.  And a two year record of 62 wins with just 5 losses.

The Boys Swimming & Diving Team completed another dominating season in the pool at the Southwestern Conference Meet. For the 4th Straight Year, a group of young men from, Steele High School, brought home another Boys Swimming & Diving SWC Championship. They were undefeated in the dual meet season and then won the conference meet. To Be Noted: This fourth consecutive championship ties the Boys Swimming & Diving  team with 3 other schools for the most consecutive Southwestern conference championships
