What will you miss most about being a Student-Athlete at Steele HS?
I will miss the support from the Amherst community and learning from my teammates how to be a better person and athlete. I am going to miss my Amherst coaches, Coach Cogan and Coach Sanchez, pushing me to be my best everyday at practice.

What is the best experience you had as a Student-Athlete at Steele HS?
My best experience was seeing the constant support from the community. At each home game, was great having a big crowd of people who just wanted to support Amherst sports. In addition, our teachers, administrators, and coaches were always there to support our team.

What is your favorite game, meet, or match you were involved in? Why?
My favorite game was this season when we played Olmsted Falls at home. We lost in 5, but despite the loss, we proved that the Amherst Volleyball team would not lose without putting up a fight. It was a great to see how hard we worked and how well we played as a team.

Over the next couple of weeks, we will feature one Senior Student-Athlete per weekday who is headed to college to continue both their academic and athletic careers. If you are a Senior Student-Athlete who did not receive an email with a Google Form from Mr. Wolf, please email me at  We want to make sure that all Class of 2020 Comets that are headed to College to participate in their sport are recognized.
